This is the one time of year when “rodents” are a good thing!

Jan 10, 2014 -- 5:01pm

When are mice a good thing? When they help children learn and experience how this great country works! Spokeswoman for the United in CHRIST Lutheran School, Stephanie Mueller (Miller) says the “Super Mouse Bowl I – Rushing to DC” races is a night filled with food, fun, and furry rodents! The mice actually race each other! She tells KZIM KSIM it takes a lot of money to help students achieve this important goal! "This is for our UIC 7th and 8th graders coming up. We are doing this every 2 years and going this time in October of this year (2014). Taking twenty kids to WashingtonDC." Mueller says a 17-dollar ticket includes; beer, soft drinks, snacks, and the dance following the races. Doors and the betting window open at 6-00pm. The mice stay under glass! The races start at 7 o’clock on the 25th at the Brazeau (Brazz-aw) Hall on Highway C. Tickets are 20-dollars at the door.
