Auto repair shops in our area have seen an increase in business beginning in December after the first winter storm of the season. Jackson Tire Center’s Charlie Glueck says that one of the biggest concerns for drivers is bad tires. He says that when you have thin tires, it becomes difficult to drive on wet pavement. He also says that battery strength can become an issue for some drivers because colder temperatures cause oil to thicken and puts more pressure on your battery to start your engine. Ways you can take care of your vehicle during winter weather are to make sure that you have good tires and a good battery for your vehicle.
