Another familiar face in politics would like to be the next Cape County Public Administrator

Jun 20, 2012 -- 3:27pm

Debra Tracy is well known in Cape Girardeau County for her service on the Cape city council, being an elder at her Presbyterian Church, volunteering with Young Life, and as a business owner. She says she feels very connected to the community and loves to serve. She tells KZIM KSIM out of a Republican field of 13 – she truly feels she is the one for the position…. She understands it is a big responsibility and she has found her "center" so she can help others in sometimes scary scenarios. She feels well positioned for this particular position. Tracy is hosting a meet and greet at Safron restaurant on north Kingshighway in Cape Saturday from 11am til 6pm. She faces Mary Ann Friese, Kim Kelley, Helen Jackson, Lisa Reitzel, Tammy Sladek,  Janet Niedbalski, Linda Nash, Scott Schnurbusch, Julie Metzger, Stuart Hoeller, Phyllis Mayfield, and Sharon Schuessler in the GOP Primary August 7th. Democrat Mary Kotner will appear on the ballot in the general Election in November against the successful GOP candidate.
