Two Cairo auxiliary firefighters will be sentenced over the next three weeks for arson in Alexander County Court.  19-year-old Richard Pitcher of Cairo and 22-year-old David Patrick of Arlington, Kentucky, pleaded guilty in May to both counts of felony arson.  Patrick’s sentencing date is set for July 11^th and Pitcher June 27^th.  The pair set fire to a storage facility near 33^rd Street and the Mississippi River levee January 22^nd, 2011.  Another fire occurred April 16^th, 2011, to a residence on Illinois Highway-37.  They each face a prison sentence of 3 to 14 years and a fine of up to 25-thousand-dollars.
