Get on your motorcycles and play in the sun to help sick kids in our area

Sep 12, 2012 -- 5:55pm

Three hundred sick children in our immediate area are being helped by the Shriner’s Club. Past President Ron Clark says they are hosting their 16th annual Poker Run this Sunday, the 16th but it’s not like you remember! He tells KZIM KSIM they are starting registration at 11am at Boot Heel Harley Davidson and then have options on how you execute your 1-hundred-thirteen mile ride! You can forward on backward on the route as long as you go to all 3 stops. You get your first and last card at Boot Heel. Clark says they usually have about 2-hundred participate. It is only 15-dollars for each rider who wants a poker hand. Prizes will be awarded at 4pm for the best hand, 50-50 raffle, and various door prizes. A band will begin performing at 2-30pm. 100% percent of the proceeds go to the Shriner’s hospital.
