With cooperative weather and steady work Southeast Missouri State University’s Academic Hall is right on schedule with their construction work. The century old building is being modernized to preserve the historic landmark and continue to serve the university. Kiefner Construction is the general contractor and is about 25 percent done. Facilities Management Director Angela Meyer tells KZIM-KSIM what to expect when the project is complete. All employees have been relocated to vacant offices throughout the campus. The project is slated to be complete next summer and open for the fall semester of 2013.
