This weekend you can take part in an effort to continue funding a search for a cure to Alzheimer disease.  Saturday the Alzheimer’s Association will host their annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Cape County Park North.  The event draws large crowds of walkers who have taken part in raising money throughout the year.  Southeast Missouri Outreach Coordinator Debbie Kern tells KZIM-KSIM they are seeing growing support.  Kern adds this is the 6^th leading cause of death in the US with no treatment or prevention for the disease.  There is no cost to take part in the walk and registration begins at 8 AM.  To learn more visit www.alz.org/stl.
