Male breast cancer occurs when malignant cells form in the tissues of the breast. Any man can develop breast cancer, but it is most common between 60 to 70 years of age. About 1% of all breast cancers occur in men with about 2,000 diagnosed annually. 450 deaths occur each year. 44-year old Charles Lutes is an ordained minister at an Oran Church. His family and friends have gotten together to host an all you can eat fish and chicken fry with a silent auction on the 30th, to help his family with medical bills and treatment. Breast cancer in men is uncommon because male breasts have ducts that are less developed and are not exposed to growth-promoting female hormones.
