A Malden man arrested after a burglary will stand trial

A Malden man behind bars after he allegedly entered a city house in November and stole items will stand trial.  20-year-old Esley Cornelius the Third is charged with burglary and robbery in the 1st degree, assault, and armed criminal action.  Malden police were called to a house on North Goldsmith November 6th.  The victim stated three black males struck him in the head inside when he returned from the store.  He was thrown to the floor and tied up, while the suspects stole his cell phones, 27-hundred-dollars in cash, car keys, clothing, and a car stereo.  The victim knew one of the attackers as his cousin and Dexter Police arrested Cornelius.  He has a hearing before Circuit Judge Stephen Sharp August 8th in Kennett.
