Do you have the best BBQ recipe? Prove it! Director of the Emergency Management Team in Chaffee Kevin Payne says they have 30 teams competing in the BBQ cook off October 12^th and 13^th but have plenty of room for more! He tells KZIM KSIM the 25-dollar per category entry fees will benefit children burned in house fires via the Missouri Burn Camp. A place where everyone is the same and no one is forgotten. Payne found the charity through his work with the fire department. It touched his heart as these kids are picked up in buses and taken home afterwards. But during they have fun and are given any and everything they need. Even new clothes! Plus it is 100-percent free to the kids! This is a non sanctioned event but does have KCBS judges.  The top three teams will receive plaques and bragging rights! The event will be in Frisco Park.
