Carbondale Police Department say three suspects are facing charges in connection with a Friday shooting on the 500 block of South Illinois Avenue. One man was shot in the abdomen in the 12:30 a.m. incident, which also included pepper spray being dispersed into a crowd of about 200. Several fights took place within the crowd. Officers and detectives located two of the suspects, Darrion D. Jake of Cape Girardeau and Ternell Albritton of Carbondale, about 8 p.m. Friday on the 700 block of North Robert Stalls. The third suspect, Robert E. Glass of Carbondale, was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Friday on the 200 Block of West Main Street. Jake is charged with aggravated battery with a firearm, aggravated discharge of a firearm and mob action. Albritton and Glass are charged with mob action. The three were taken to Jackson County Jail.
