Collision on narrow bridge injures one in Cape County

A collision on a narrow bridge in Cape Girardeau County sent one man to the hospital with moderate injuries early Sunday morning. At 1:25 am 32-year old Jordan R. Picker, of Cape Girardeau was westbound in a Jeep Wrangler on County Road 318, two miles south of Jackson, when his Jeep collided with an eastbound Dodge pickup on a narrow bridge. According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol the jeep went off the side of the bridge and into a creek. A passenger in the jeep 28-year old Matthew Callow of Jackson suffered moderate injuries.
