3 killed in Saturday accident

Three people were killed when they were thrown from their vehicle during an accident. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported at 4:23 p.m. Saturday, 30-year old David M. Six Jr., of Bragg City, was driving northbound on Missouri Highway B at Homestown when his vehicle ran off the right side of the road, striking a culvert. The vehicle overturned, ejecting the driver and two passengers. Six and a passenger, 57-year old David M. Six Sr., of Portageville, were pronounced dead at the scene by Pemiscot County Coroner Jim Brimhall. 29-year old Jason L. Phillips, of Caruthersville, was pronounced dead at Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital.
