After 14 years the Southeast Missouri State University Sikeston campus will say farewell to Director Judy Buck. She will be retiring the 29th when former Sikeston schools superintendent Steve Borgsmiller will take over the position. Buck began as director in 1998 when the campus was nothing more than a temporary facility. Over time she saw the university grow to a full time staff and about 170 course selections for students. She tells KZIM-KSIM a friend recently put her career in perspective. Buck adds the campus still has a lot of growth ahead of it and has enjoyed the support from the campus and community. She plans to spend the next several months with her family and friends before moving on to her next endeavor.
