A shed on Bloomfield road was destroyed by fire last night. Cape Girardeau firefighters were called to 1008 Bloomfield at 9:22 pm for a structure fire behind a home. There was extensive fire and smoke damage but no one was hurt. It took only about 10 minutes to put the fire out. The cause is under investigation.
