A man wanted for a Scott City home robbery in May, 2011, will not go to trial this summer.  35-year-old Shawn Kinsey was arrested in July, 2011, in Saint Francis County.  He is charged with robbery, burglary, assault, and armed criminal action.  Scott City Police received a report of a burglary and robbery in May of last year.  The victim told police he awoke that morning and discovered Kinsey in his residence.  A struggle ensued where the victim was reportedly assaulted with a firearm. The victim received several bruises on his face.  Kinsey was set to go trial this week before Judge Scott Horman in Benton.  But he instead has a plea hearing set for July 3^rd.
