Students at Alma Schrader Elementary School in Cape will join with the community this week to celebrate Constitution Day.  Cape’s Mayor Harry Rediger will welcome SEMO living historians, the VFW, the Jerry Ford Orchestra, area veterans, and the Sons of the American Revolution for the event Thursday at 9:15 AM.  School counselor Julia Unnerstall tells KZIM KSIM the goal is to remind the students about the importance of our U-S Constitution through the eyes of these re-enactors.  Unnerstall says each student was asked to invite a family member or veteran to join the program.  But the event is also open to the public.  The school has put together a similar Constitution Day since September 11^th, 2001.
