The Women of Zonta are going all out to raise money for their women’s programs in Haiti. For 2 years groups of local women have made the trip to Haiti to work at a dental clinic they supported, literacy programs, and to teach women how to crochet and sew to feed their families. Fundraiser Chairperson, Carolyn Kempf tells KZIM KSIM the Murder Mystery and Chocolate event at Buckner’s has everything people crave! Intrigue and yummy treats! There will be food, chocolate, some wine, and a real life whodunnit! The Zonta women will be in costume and you get to quiz them to figure out who the evil one is within the group! Like a game of clue! The event begins at 7pm in the river view room with cocktails beginning at 6-30pm. Tcikets can be purchased at the door yet Kempf says they have only 50 left! Advance sales are available at Elite Travel and in Jackson at the Edward Jones office of Cheryl Mothes. Zonta Clubs promote the advancement status of women worldwide.
