The Office of Administration, in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Revenue, has awarded the management contract for the Jackson License Office. The office will remain at its current location at 125 E. Main St. In fiscal year 2013, more than 59,800 transactions were conducted generating $200,614 in agent processing fees. ABC of Southeast Missouri’s contract includes an annual commitment to return 7.75 percent, approximately $15,547, of future processing fees to the state. All local license offices are overseen by the Missouri Department of Revenue, but each is operated by an independent agent. All contracts in Missouri are awarded through a competitive bid process.
