Southeast Missouri State University is opening their doors to help you beat the heat

Jun 28, 2012 -- 12:48pm

You can try out Southeast Missouri State University’s student aquatic center this weekend to beat the heat.  The indoor pool and facility is opening their doors to the community to escape the expected record heat this weekend.  Saturday and Sunday they will be open from 1 until 5 PM for only 5-dollars a person.  Recreation Services Director Troy Vaughn tells KZIM-KSIM there is a lot to do at their pool. All children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult and everyone must wear regular swimming trunks, no cut-offs are allowed.  The aquatic center is located next to the Show-Me Center on the Southeast Campus.
