A Perryville man who allegedly sexually assaulted a teenage girl at a city hotel is going to trial this week in Cape County.  57-year-old Bobby Roberts is charged with forcible rape and two counts of sodomy.  His jury trial began Thursday morning in Cape before Judge William Syler.  Perryville police were called to the Americas Best Value Inn on Liberty Street August 10^th, 2011, in reference to a report of a sexual assault.  The 18-year-old girl told police Roberts picked her up at her home in Belton, Missouri, the day before, drove back to Perryville, and rented a hotel room.  Roberts was arrested when he attempted to return to the hotel.  Roberts has a prior history of rape.  The state was presenting its case before the jury as of late Thursday.
