Jackson is putting on a fourth of July full of fun, food, and fireworks that draws family members home every year. For the 15^th consecutive Healthpoint Fitness is putting on a 5K and fun run beginning at 7-30am. Manager Scott Givens tells KZIM KSIM they start early to beat the heat and to stomp out cancer… People are off from work and coming home to see family and many come out to run! All of the money goes to cancer programs at SE Health. The race begins at Healthpoint in Jackson and continues through the park with refreshments and awards for top finishers and the finale. All participants get a NIKE Dry-fit T-shirt. Givens is expecting over 3-hundreds runners this year! Register up until race time but early birds will pay only 25-dollars, the day of the race it is 30.
