Sikeston Police have a city resident in jail after a homicide investigation over the weekend. DPS was called to the 800-block of William Street Saturday at 2 AM in reference to a subject that had been shot. 19-year-old DeAngelo Williams of Sikeston was rushed to a Cape hospital with multiple wounds and died four hours later. An investigation led to the search for chief suspect 29-year-old Kevin King. Sikeston Lieutenant Jim McMillen tells KZIM KSIM they learned he was hiding Sunday at a Cape address. McMillen says they are still looking for the murder weapon. He says there were witnesses to the shooting and they believe there is also a cell phone video of what happened. If you have any information, contact 573-471-4711. King is jailed on a 150-thousand-dollar cash only bond and has a court date Tuesday in Benton.
