Jackson man charged after fireworks incident

Jackson Police say a local man is facing charges after an altercation involving a shotgun and fireworks.  Saturday night, officers arrested 69-year old James Holloway after he pulled a shotgun on his neighbors, who were shooting off fireworks from their property. When he approached the family, they say he put a shotgun shell into the gun and pointed it at the father demanding they stop. A physical altercation ensured and the gun was taken away from him.  Holloway was charged with the Class D Felony of Unlawful Use of a Weapon and the Class C Misdemeanor of Assault 3rd degree. His bond was set at $7,500.
