A reprieve in the weather has given Bloomfield the break they need to host their 4^th of July Celebration.  Due to the heat and drought like conditions the group originally postponed the event.  The city won’t host this year’s event and it will be put on through the efforts of the Bloomfield Firefighters Association and donations from residents.  Association Chairman M.B. Smith tells KZIM-KSIM they were glad to fill the void. he show begins at 9 PM in the city park.  Oran will also host a bevy of 4^th of July activities with their picnic from 11 to 6 PM, live music from 3 until 10 with a fireworks display to follow.
