Sikeston Police say an argument Wednesday afternoon ended in gunfire and a man being rushed to the hospital with injuries to his abdomen. DPS Lieutenant Jim McMillen says the shooting happened around 12:45 PM Wednesday in the 14-00 block of West Murray Lane. The 30-year-old male victim was rushed by car to the hospital after he was shot in the stomach. Investigators say an argument led to the shooting. Police are interviewing potential witnesses and do not have a suspect in custody. The victim required emergency surgery. His condition is unknown.
