A Cape Girardeau man has been arrested and charged with the thousands of dollars of damaged caused to a Cape office building. Travis Fornkohl was taken into custody on Friday. On the June 30th allegedly opened a water valve at the top story of a building on William Street which houses several federal and medical offices along with other businesses. Damage was reported on all 6 floors of the building. A motive has not been revealed and Fornkohl is being held on charges of second degree burglary and property damage. He is being held on a 20-thousand dollar bond.
