Animals from the Lazy L Safari Park will be taking a train ride and you can join them!  Jeckers the Blue and Gold Macaw will be boarding the St. Louis Mountain Railway in Jackson and will take part in the educational program during the two hour ride.  The Lazy L Safari Park is located in Cape Girardeau and is a walk through zoo featuring more than 40 different exotic species. Park Director Vicki Lantz tells KZIM-KSIM this is a program they have wanted to do for a while. The train will leave from the depot at 1 PM.  Cost to ride is 16-dollars for adults and 9-dollars for children.  Along with the ride each child will receive a free pass to the Lazy L Safari Park.  To learn more call 573-243-7862.
