82-year old Eugene Johnson of Dardienne Prairie is dead after suffering a medical condition that caused him to crash his car on Interstate 70 east of Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Charles County. Troop C Missouri Highway Patrol reports indicate Johnson was westbound when he lost control of his car due to a medical emergency and crashed into a concrete median. His car came to a stop on the shoulder of the road. No one else was injured. Johnson was buckled in but doctors at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis pronounced him dead at 1-20 yesterday afternoon.
