You can enjoy Led Zeppelin in concert on the silver screen for two shows only this week in Cape! Wehrenberg Theaters is bringing their two-hour long, December 2007 concert in London to the movies Wednesday at 7 PM and 9:40. The film is entitled “Celebration Day” and includes 16 of Zeppelin’s top hits from “Whole Lotta Love” to “Stairway to Heaven.” Wehrenberg spokeswoman Kelly Hoskins tells KZIM KSIM these one-time shows are another way the movie industry is adapting to bring in more patrons. Hoskins says 20 million people applied for tickets to this one concert five years ago but only 18-thousand people were the luck few to see it live! She says they know there are a lot of Zeppelin fans that wanted to catch their first headline concert in 27 years and this is one way they can experience it with digital sound and on a giant screen. You can get tickets at 10-dollars each at wehrenberg-dot-com.
