On Wednesday city leaders and Do It Best Corporation executives broke ground in Sikeston for the new location for their 30-million dollar facility. The company is moving from their Cape Girardeau location that has been open since 1971. All the employees will retain their jobs but will now work out of Sikeston. Economic Development Director Ed Dust tells KZIM-KSIM there are a lot benefits to the company staying in southeast Missouri. The building will be located in the city’s Business, Education and Technology Park. Construction is expected to be completed by the fall of 2013.
