A Miner woman re-charged with murder found not guilty

Oct 10, 2012 -- 2:42pm

A Miner teen re-charged with murder after a death on Westview Street in Sikeston is found not guilty!  20-year-old Brianna Branson originally faced second degree murder, tampering with evidence, leaving the scene and minor in possession of alcohol after events that led to the death of 18-year-old Kendra Gray of Sikeston.  Police arrested Branson July 24th, 2010, after a fight between her and Gray over a boy at an underage party.  A re-creation of the events led to a new 2nd-degree murder count against Branson.  Judge Fred Copeland heard testimony during a bench trial in September.  The verdict Wednesday found Branson not guilty.
